WoodReps are woodworking sales experts. We are professional, motivated business people with our companies and families funded solely on the commissions made from selling product. This motivation causes us to focus on the best ways to sell your product over the long-term. We will come back to you with anything we believe will help your company and us make a better, more competitive product. Product ideas, marketing challenges, new niches, and competitor's weaknesses will all be laid on your doorstep. We will open closed doors at the key accounts for your sales efforts and people.

Each of our company reps is a separate business which joined the WoodReps association in order to be a part of the only nationwide sales team in the woodworking market. Our team can be contacted as one entity or as individual territorial agencies.

Service Level Fee Structure

How Reps are Normally Compensated

A. Commission
Reps pay is based on a commission from each sale made for the vendor. This commission ranges from 6% to 15%. Commissions on commodity items (volume products that are sold once but are re-ordered repeatedly) are near 6%. Technical products that require training, trouble shooting, and on-site service has a commission rate over 10%.

B. Shared Marketing Fee
Companies that are new to the US market often do not have the commissions to support independent reps. Independent reps will avoid taking on these companies unless they are willing to help share in the initial cost of marketing the products. A Shared Marketing Fee offsets that cost by paying a set amount on a monthly basis to offset the reps costs of starting a new product line.

We will work the national and regional trade shows, do product demos, training sessions, on-site trouble shooting, and help organize mail or telemarketing campaigns. We will work on the road with your staff and the sales staff of any distributors we sell to. WoodReps has developed contacts, trust, and credibility with major OEM's and distributors in every woodworking market nationwide.  Our team is composed of the most skilled, motivated, and established sales staff in the woodworking industry.  We are professional, independent sales teams with decades of experience.
